When you Create a Team on NSID you get a full free blown team management system that can be used for scheduling, communicating and more. This system was designed by a coach so it includes all the things needed to manage your team and parents. You can learn how to use all the features in individual help topics but below is a list of the key ones with a detailed description of what each does.
- Team Calendar – Our calendar is a scheduling platform that performs all the necessary functions so assure your team is kept up to speed with all events. We have integrated with Google Calendar so you can utilize all the features of it right inside your team on NSID. You just connect to or create a new Google Calendar then you can operate it from NSID. Creating events, sending email/text notifications, tracking attendance and giving directions on Google Maps has never been so easy.
- Text/Email Alerts – We offer free text/email alerts that can be send a number of different ways. We have: Global Alerts, which allows you to set a time (ex: 24 hours before the event) and any event added to your schedule will send an text/email alert to all team members. We have Instant Reminders, which allows you to send the pertinent information of the entered event in a matter of 2 clicks. We also have Event Reminder, which allows you to set a reminder to the individual event and the pertinent information goes out automatically based on that setting.
- Upcoming Events – This is feature displays the most recent events entered into your calendar so your team members can quickly view and or answer if they are attending or not.
- YouTube Video – We have integrated with YouTube so you can tie in your YouTube Channel, as well as subscribe to other channels so the videos are displayed right inside your team.
- Announcements – This feature allows you to utilize an easy to use editor so you can publish important announcement to your team. You can add text, pictures or video for important things you want your team to notice.
- Documents – This feature lets you upload important documents that you want your parents to be able to view and or download. This is nicely displayed in it’s own section to help team members find it easily.
- Game & Practice Tracker – This is a cool feature that allows you to track your games and practices. There are filters so you can search by game, practice, location or team. You are then able to print or easily send the results.
- Team Join Requests – This will display who has requested to join your team IF you have the setting set that all members must be approved before joining your team. You can easily view who has requested to join it then click approve or not approve if you want them in or not.
- Roster Data – When turned on this feature will trigger a pop up to your parents to enter their child’s jersey number, address and school name when entering your team. This will help you gather the important information needed to complete your roster, which is required to verify your team.
- E-Sign Waiver Management – This feature allows you to upload a waiver that can be automatically send to a parent of a player that joins your team AND allows the parent to e-sign. You also get a cool interface that allows you to track the waivers that have been received or not so you can easily resend one with one click.
