National Sports ID partners with Zero Gravity Basketball to Ensure Safety and Fairness in Youth Sports
National Sports ID partners with another reputable tournament to help legitimize age verification.
Mahwah, NJ January 19, 2017: National Sports ID is proud to announce its partnership with Zero Gravity Basketball, an organization that provides tournaments and games for basketball teams, giving similar opportunities to “everyday” basketball players that highly touted prospects get. As National Sports ID provides sports identification cards to verify the ages and grades of youth athletes, the partnership will be instrumental in boosting the integrity of each team participating in the tournaments and games that Zero Gravity Basketball hosts. Starting this spring, Zero Gravity will implement new regulations making it mandatory for every player to be registered on National Sports ID in order to participate in any of their events. While National Sports ID’s competitors charge a minimum of $16 to register, the organization’s service is free of cost, and their user-friendly interface will make it effortless for parents and coaches to sign up. Coaches now have the ability to obtain age confirmation on their whole roster at once, avoiding having to collect and carry documents for their players throughout the duration of the season. The registration process can be completed in just minutes by simply creating a National Sports ID account and uploading a player photo and relevant documents. National Sports ID customer support will then confirm the documentation information and a verification card will be issued. Coaches are then able to add verified players to their team and submit the team to National Sports ID for approval. This partnership between two established brands will successfully promote fairness and an even playing field in youth sports for years to come.
Ryan Tremblay, CEO National Sports ID: “I am very excited that one of the top tournament organizations in the United States has decided to work with us and help assure our youth athletes are being properly guided to follow the rules.”
