TOURNAMENT DETAILS
- 10th Grade – Athletes must be enrolled in the 10th grade or below (as of October 1, 2019) AND cannot turn 18 prior to September 1, 2020
- 9th Grade – Athletes must be enrolled in the 9th grade or below (as of October 1, 2019) AND cannot turn 17 prior to September 1, 2020
- 8th Grade – Athletes must be enrolled in the 8th grade or below (as of October 1, 2019) AND cannot turn 16 prior to September 1, 2020
- 13U – Athletes cannot turn 14 prior to September 1, 2020 (age division, no grade exceptions)
- 12U – Athletes cannot turn 13 prior to September 1, 2020 (age division, no grade exceptions)
*Players may only be listed on one roster at the event. Players cannot play for multiple teams.
Coach and Bench Personnel Eligibility
All coaches and bench personnel must have a valid USA Basketball Coach License (either gold or associate) on file with USA Basketball to be listed on the roster and sit on the bench. To obtain a coach license, visit https://community.usab.com.
Player Eligibility
All participating players are required to complete age and grade verification based on the division criteria, upload a headshot and have a parent/guardian signed waiver to be eligible. Verification is completed through National Sports ID player accounts. Permitted forms of age verification include: birth certificate, state ID card or passport. Permitted forms of grade verification include: report card, school ID, progress report or screenshot of online account.
Coach Eligibility
All coaches and bench personnel must have a valid USA Basketball Coach License (either gold or associate) on file with USA Basketball to be listed on the roster and sit on the bench. Coaches must be listed on the National Sports ID roster and submit a signed waiver through a National Sports ID coach account.
Roster Size and Deadline
Teams may have a maximum of 15 personnel, including all players and coaches, on their roster. Team rosters must consist at minimum 1 licensed coach and at maximum 14 players. Players may only be listed on one roster at the event. Players cannot play for multiple teams.
Team verification and rosters are due July 10, 2020. USA Basketball is not required to place any team on the competition schedule if a verified roster of players and coaches is not submitted by this deadline.
Rosters are locked once teams check-in and no further changes, exceptions or additions will be permitted.
Team Check-in
All teams should be prepared to play at any time on Wednesday, July 15, the official first day of the tournament. On-site team check-in must be completed prior to the team’s first game. More information about check-in and games times will be provided to registered teams closer to the tournament start.
Dress Code
All bench personnel, both male and female, must adhere to the coach dress code by wearing a shirt with a collar, dress pants, slacks or khaki pants, dress shorts or khaki shorts or dress skirts and closed-toe shoes.
Prohibited attire while sitting on bench:
- Sandals
- Open-toed shoes
- Hats or head attire (unless religious headwear)
- Sweatpants, track pants, leggings, joggers
- Athletic shorts
Tournament officials have full and final authority to interpret this rule and access proper penalties. Violations to the bench may result in a technical foul and one free-throw by the opposing team prior to the start of the game.
Team Dress
All teams are required to have both a light and dark jersey for each player. Players on the same team are not permitted to wear the same number. Jersey numbers must be clearly visible on the back of the jersey (preferably also on the front). If a team is not wearing the correct color jersey, a technical foul may be assessed for each player not in the proper uniform.

Set-up is easy and takes 10-15 minutes
1. Click the Get My Team Verified button below.
2. Sign in or Sign up for NSID AS A COACH & choose a division for your team.
3. Watch the pop-up video and follow prompts to create team.
4. On team page click Invite New Team Members. to send out invites.
